Spooky Eyes

Two spooky eyes peek out above the fireplace in this very scary scene! To create Spooky Eyes, I used a favorite brick embossing folder on black paper for the back wall, and the inside fireplace wall too, to give a great texture to the card. I cut the Grand Madison Fireplace in light grey and dark grey, using the dark grey cut to shadow the fireplce on the left side. I added an off-white pale grey Spider Web Border to the left corner to make the web look a little dirty and creepy. I added a small corner of the spider web to the left corner of the fireplace as well. I used a pile of Fireplace Logs and the Warm and Cozy Fire to bring the scene ablaze, and Birthday Candles on top of the mantle for a little Halloween color.

To make the scary eyes above the mantle, I cut out the word BOO from the Scary Background in orange, then cut it again in white, inserting the negative white ovals and positioning the eyes inward for an evil look. Maybe he looks more angry than evil? I added two tiny black eyeballs with a hand held tiny hole paper punch. To finish it off, I added three colorful melted Perler Beads from my collection of 10,000 I melted in my oven one week last July.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Live your life in color!
