A Pawsitively Magical Card!
by Sphoorti

Hello Poppy Peeps!

It’s Sphoorti again! And surprise—I’ve got a Halloween card for you! I know, I know, it’s December, but I figured you’d appreciate a break from all the holiday madness. (Honestly, I just found this card I made and realized I forgot about it… again. So here I am, posting before my memory does a vanishing act!)

Do you guys remember the card I posted in November for the Leaves Are Falling Challenge? I used the same color palette here. I started off with a card base in a portrait orientation and cut through the enter thing (front and back) using the Cat Collage die. Then I cut a gold glitter card stock using the same die so that I could have a thin shadow behind the kitty. I adhered the golden kitty slightly offset from the white kitty in the front. I adhered some acetate on the panel in the front so that the kitty would have something to rest on.

I took the card base and distress inked it in a triangular format and then splattered some distress mica stains of matching colors.

I used pieces of sentiment stamps from two sets to get the “Pawsitively” and “Magical” words and stamped them. Then I took a die cut of the Moonlight Hugs die and temporarily adhered it to the card and then distressed inked black soot all around it for that spooky effect. And that was it! What do you think?

Check out more pictures below, one of which has a surprise guest!

Love,

Sphoorti
