Bountiful Sunflowers

Hi everyone!  Sherry Hester here with a very simple card using the Bountiful Sunflower die and the Texture Disperse stencil from Memory Box.

I stenciled the background onto a piece of white card stock using soft yellow and green inks, then splattered the background using a wet brush to pick up the ink that I swiped onto an acrylic block.  I cut the sunflowers from white card stock and used a dauber to sponge the green and yellow colors onto the flowers and stems  I added some glimmer with a glitter brush on the yellow flower tops, and then adhered the flowers to the stenciled card piece.  I snipped off the stems that hung over the left and bottom edges.  I randomly added some green gemstones.  I mounted this assembled piece with mounting tape onto a slightly larger size of green cardstock and then adhered that to the card base.  This was a very quick and easy card to make for just about any occasion.  Thanks again for stopping by!

  2. I fell in love with this sunflower die when you first released it & boy was my judgement spot on….. it is truly out of this world. Stunning card showcasing a wonderful die design

  3. That’s beautiful! Did you have any problems with the middle seedy part of the sunflower cutting out? Mine isn’t cutting well despite adding extra card.
