Hydrangea heart pomander
Hi everyone, it's Ira again. Hope you are having fun during our Poppystamps Blog Blitz!
Ever since I was a little girl, I immediately took to flowers, I love them! And when I first laid eyes on the beautiful hydrangea Poppystamps die I was immediately smitten. So, what do you need to make this little heart pomander, a lot of flowers and a little patience 😉
Here's how I built up my heart (I simply cut out several shaped hearts and layered them):

And this is the pomander completely finished, I coloured the leaves with distress markers:

If you'd like to win the Hydrangea Bloom Dies please leave a comment on this post by 9-20! Winners will be announced on 9-23! Good Luck!

So beautiful and elegant.
Is amazing, I love all your work in it!
Beautiful!
This is REALLY amazing! I love the color and texture in this soft, sweet card!
I’m not sure what a pomander is? Is it removable from the card, because it seems to have a hanger. Did you color the flowers or cut them from some sort of patterned paper? Lots of questions, but I love the look – and it must take quite a bit of time to achieve that.
Have to say I am curious about the cameo on there as well. I like the look…
Beautiful! The flowers look real.
Oh my goodness, how beautiful is that!! How long did that take to make? However it is simply drop dead gorgeous. Thank you for sharing that.

Soft and sweet. Does the pomander detach from the card?
Love hydrangeas, have one flowerbed dedicated to them and more plants scattered around in other beds. I NEED that die. 🙂 Your pomander looks just like a mophead. Love it.
