Quick and Easy Christmas cards

Ilina here and today I am sharing quick, easy, clean and simple Christmas cards that are easy to mass produce for the holidays and you can change the colors as you like using the new 2808 Nordic Drop Ornament craft die.

To make the cards start by die cutting the ornaments using three shades of each color you would like to use. I decided to make three cards and used purples, blues and reds along with accents of gold and silver. But you can make any number of cards and use completely different colors.

Additionally for each card cut 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of white cardstock and A2 panel ( 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) of the medium shade of the color you are using for the ornament. Also you will need A2 white note card, or instead of the A2 panel of each color you can make card base. I like using just a front colored panel, as the inside of the card will be left white that is easier for writing, it gives more sturdiness to the card, and you preserve your colored cardstock (you use less)

Once you have all you supplies and die cuts. Assemble the ornaments and add thin gold and silver bow on top of each ornament. I used embroidery floss I had in my stash.

Once you have the ornaments, stamp sentiment on your white panels. I just pulled a generic Merry Christmas sentiment I had in my stash.

Now, that you have all the elements together, it’s time to assemble the cards. Adhere all the elements together using foam tape to add dimension and then the entire colored panel to the white note card. Super quick and easy and also super fun.
