Hugs Tag

One thing I love creating is a cute bookmark tag with a FUN ribbon topper. It’s a great quick & easy gift idea for a friend, a relative, a co-worker, or anyone who likes to read and who might enjoy a little pick-me-up. These sweet tags are so cute with the ribbons sticking out the top of your book. And the tag itself was easy to create using some of the sweet dies from Poppystamps. It’s always fun, easy and beautiful when you create with Poppystamps Dies.

I used the largest size tag die found in the Scalloped Pinpoint Frame Dies. I rubbed the background with oxide inks and splattered them with a bit of water. Next, I cut two butterflies using the Nordic Whisper Butterfly Dies and I variated the colors so that each butterfly would be unique. I love the layering in these sweet dies.

That sweet Hugs sentiment is one that I think may possibly by out of stock. However, you can use any of the sentiment dies available at Poppystamps. I used several ribbons, some lace, black baker’s twine, and torn pieces of material scraps. Yes, the bow is huge; but I love it.
