Lovely Birthday Flowers

Hi friends, it’s Rachel here with a floral card, straight from the garden! I love this time of year with all the flowers blooming and displaying their gorgeous color. The coneflower is one of my favorites!

To create this card, I die cut the Poppystamps Lovely Floral Bundle and Fringed Heart Frames out of Memory Box glitter and mirrored papers. Next I die cut the cardfront in a bright lime green cardstock from the largest of the Fine Eyelet Frames die. I adhered it to a white cardbase.

I arranged the pieces so that the blossoms are situated off to the top left of the heart. I glued them onto the cardfront and popped up the blossoms with dimensionals so the height was the same as the stems which are over the heart.

Then I finely splattered fuschia watercolor paint over the card.

I die cut the Happy Birthday Tender Script in a pale blue glitter paper. I adhered it to the card. I cut more of the sentiment to adjust the level for the stems. Finally I added two Fairy Jewels on the lower left for balance.

I love the beautiful glitter and shine !
