Hugs and Kisses
by Lisa Elton

Hello and welcome Poppy friends! I have a sweet card today that would be suitable for so many occasions. Valentines Day is probably the first thing that comes to mind. But how about an anniversary or birthday? There are several occasions to send heart, hugs and kisses! This one was used as a birthday card for our niece. Lets take a look at how it went together.

I created a mini slimline card base then added the largest of the Scalloped Pinpoint tags. The tag was cut from our Raspberry Sorbet cardstock. It was adhered on an angle for added interest.

The Nordic Heart was cut twice. Once from Raspberry Sorbet cardstock and once from vellum. I used a simple glue stick to add the vellum to the cardstock. When adding the heart to the tag, I left space between the die cut pieces. But you could easily snug them together if you wanted a different look!

The Cute Bow was cut from white cardstock with a little pink Copic shading added. It was adhered to the tag with a foam dot.

Next came some sweet blooms from the Simple Floral Bundle die set. Once again I did some Copic coloring.

A sweet stamped sentiment and die cut banner topped it off. Birthday wishes for our niece are on the inside!

I hope I’ve inspired you to use your heart dies for something other than Valentines Day! But hey… they work great for that too! Thank so much for stopping by, we love it when you do!
