Challenge Reminder: Keep it Simple!
by Lisa Elton
Hey there, friends it’s Lisa here today reminding you there is still time to play along in our monthly challenge. For September, we’re looking for Keep it Simple, CAS or One Layer creations. Here’s a look at the inspiration card I made for you.
A simple design with just a few little die cuts. It all began with a white card base that was stenciled using our Fanciful Flowers Stencil Set. I used just a couple of the layers for this card and focused on the bottom third of the card base. When the stenciling was complete, I added some scored lines. You’ll notice I went all of the way to the edge in one direction and only part of the way on the other side. I like the interest it adds without being too busy!

I popped this little cutie in her polka dot box right where those lines intersect. She’s cut from white cardstock with just a little gray shading added and a few touches of pink. I think that box was filled with a flower delivery, but she decided it would make a cozy place for a nap!

The horizontal scored lines also gave me the perfect… of should I say ‘purrfect’ spot for a fun sentiment.
And there you have it, friends something simple, something sweet! We do hope you’ll join us this month. You have a chance to win a $20 gift card to the Poppystamps store!
