Yappy Birthday Shaker Card

Hi crafty friends! It’s Michelle here with a fun shaker card featuring the new Leaping Dachshund die from the new Dog Days of Summer collection!
I recycled stamp packaging and created a slim profile shaker element. To start, I inked blended the background with light blue ink and added some gold splatter. I sealed up 3 sides and then added a variety of sequins, sealed it up the top and adhered it to a card base.
I used the largest die from the Scallop Pinpoint Hearts and die cut an opening from an A2 card front and adhered it over the shaker card base. I then used the same Scallop Pinpoint Heart die and die cut a warm deep pink heart frame and adhered it to the inside of the card base opening.
The adorable doggie is from the new Leaping Dachshund die set and I die cut his adorable sweater from the Memory Box Fuchsia Plaid 6×6 paper pad. The sentiment is the Yappy Birthday die set.
This is a birthday card, so of course my doggie has a festive balloon! I used the Brilliant Birthday Balloons die set and added some gold thread as the balloon string. I adhered both over the shaker opening with foam squares.
