Sending Love
By Lisa Elton

Hello and welcome! Lisa here today with a sweet and simple summer card featuring the new Nordic Swirl Mushrooms. I kept my design and colors simple to let those darlign mushrooms take center stage.

The mushrooms were cut from kraft and pink cardstock and topped with patterned paper. I added some little dots to their stems with a Copic marker then popped them onto a rectangle panel cut from more PP. This rectangle comes from the Double Scalloped Stitched Frame Die set. It’s a good one to have in your collection because there are so many possibilities made from the cuts.

You’ll see in this photo that I used just the outline of the Double Scalloped Frame. I popped it onto some of our fabulous creamy woodgrain paper. I’m loving this color combo. It’s delicate, yet woodsy too!

The sentiment banner was stamped with kraft ink then layered with gold metallic paper picking up the gold from the patterned papers. A sprinkling of Fairy Jewels add to the woodland magic!

And there you have it. Simple and sweet with a little summer magic thrown in! Thanks for stopping by, we appreciate you!
