Tickled Pink Challenge Reminder

Hello Poppystamps friends! I am popping in to remind you about this month’s challenge! On the first of every month we announce the challenge, and you get most of the month to join us. Just link up your design with an online gallery like Flickr, Splitcoaststampers or Instagram. We select one card that we like best as the monthly winner and then randomly select one entry as the winner of a $20 gift card to the store.
For this month’s challenge, our theme is “Tickled Pink.” Couldn’t be any easier, right? I use a lot of pink on my cards, but this time I decided to go all in. What could be more pink than a card for a new baby girl?
My card today features the adorable bunnies from the Thoughtful Bunny Duo set. They are just perfect as a mama and a baby, aren’t they? The base of my card is the Nordic Floral Burst Background. I cut the shadow layer from pink cardstock, of course. The white detail layer makes it look just like lace. The bunnies are sitting on a circle in the middle of the card, which I made with the Scallop Pinpoint Rings. I cut it once from pink cardstock and once from white cardstock. I used the pink interior circle and the white scallop border. The sentiment is the Congrats Streamer Script, which I cut from black glossy cardstock.
For a finishing touch, I added some pale pink jewels around the design of the background die. That’s it for my card today! I hope it brings a smile to your face.
