Frog Party!
by Rachel Duong

Hooray–from all of us! It’s Rachel here with a frog-filled card. Can you count them all? There are 5, and one is peeking out behind the double O’s. The Poppystamps “Lily Pad Frog” die is light-hearted, fun, easy to put together and versatile.

To create this card, I die cut five frogs and three lily pads from the Poppystamps “Lily Pad Frog” die. I used heavy white cardstock and loosely blended cool green distress inks over the pieces. A black sharpie fills in the area for the eyes.

I die cut the confetti paper slightly smaller than a standard A2 card. The “Birthday Fun” patterned paper is fitting for these busy frogs. The gold metallic bits are festive and fun. I glued the card front onto a pale blue-green card stock.

Then I stamped the “hooray” sentiment in a light coral pink and cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut a few more sentiments and glued them together to add height and laid it in the center of my card. I arranged the frogs around the “Hooray” making sure one frog was upside down and another peeking out! I popped up the pieces with foam squares, glued it down, and the card is complete!

I love the soft, light, pastel color scheme of this card. The Poppystamps “Lily Pad Frog” die is great on cards for all ages and celebrations. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you get a chance to see the Poppystamps newest release. Have a wonderful day!
