Bunny Day

Easter will be here soon! I no longer have kids at home and I miss making Easter baskets up! I created this Bunny Day card using the Nordic Basket and Nordic Bunny Trio die sets. I started off by die cutting all my images from white cardstock and then colored with my alcohol markers. I love to do this and add shading to the images. I focused on using very soft and light colors for a pastel basket.
I colored each of the bunnies. I love how they are layer up to give them some dimension. For the card panel, I used the Cortina Pinpoint Plate and die cut from Kraft cardstock and then layered onto a Kraft cardbase. I then started to layer my basket with a mix of foam tape to add some dimension using a thicker foam tape in the middle and thinner foam tape to the outside. I glued the handle straight down with liquid adhesive.
To finish off the card, I added some leaves and flowers using the Flower and Leaf Sprinkles die. I stamped a sentiment from Spring Banners stamp and die cut set. I added some pastel fairy jewels for a little sparkle. I hope you have a wonderful day!
