Nordic Bells
by Birgit Norton
I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day. That’s one of my favorite Christmas songs! This song was running through my mind as I was creating this card using the lovely Nordic Bells from the most recent release.
I started by cutting the Nordic Bells out of three colors of cardstock. Two shades of red from the Blush Solid Core Cardstock and one using metallic gold cardstock from my scrap box. I also cut the Little Bow and String out of the same metallic gold cardstock.
For the base of the card, I cut a piece of pretty gold inflected, red plaid from the Gladiola Plaid paper pad and a white linen scalloped circle using Scallop Pinpoint Rings.
Once all the element were cut, it was time to assemble my card by carefully layering each bell over the scalloped circle, adding the gold bow. A white Greeting Tab adds to the sentiment of the card.
I hope this card inspires you with your own holiday card making this joyous season.

I love the Christmas carol too Birgit, and your card is so pretty with the wonderful plaid background and the Nordic Bells and gold bow! And now that song won’t quit going through my head! It’s ok though because I really do love it…and your lovely, lovely card!! Hugs. :0)
Oh! Now I’ve got that song in my head, too! Your bells are so beautiful in the shades of red with gold, and the fabulous plaid is the perfect paper to back them up. I really love the little string & bow for hanging all sorts of things. Now is the time to finish up those Christmas cards!
Hi Birgit, This is a fabulous card.

Beautiful layering of the bells and the gold is such a pretty touch, I love the scalloped circle they are on too!
