Birthday Nordic Petalglow Flowers

Hello Friends! I’m sharing a bright and cheerful birthday card with products from the new Nordic Daydream release, including the the Nordic Petalglow Flower. For something a little different, I made a mini slimline card which was perfect for this floral design.
The Nordic Petalglow Flower is both beautiful and very easy to assemble, and I think it will quickly become a must-have die for flower lovers. The pieces fit together perfectly, making it simple to create a layered flower with lots of dimension. For this card, I chose solid colors using Memory Box cardstock for a bright and cheerful look. All of the cardstock colors I used are listed below. I can’t wait to experiment with mixing and matching different color combinations in the future.
To finish the card, I added the elegant Happy Birthday Tender Script sentiment die. It fits perfectly under the center bloom. I layered three die cuts together for added dimension and some vellum from my stash as a subtle backer to make it stand out against the colorful background.
I wanted to keep this card clean and simple, so didn’t add much embellishment—well, maybe just a tiny bit. The Open Studio Fairy Drops added just the perfect finishing touch. I placed the smallest clear drop in the center of the bottom petal of each flower for some subtle sparkle. I also found a perfect spot for a tiny heart…see if you can find it.
