Be Merry
by Lisa Elton

Hello sweet Poppy peeps! How is your Christmas card stash coming along? I’m here today with some merry inspiration for you. Did you know you can use your stencils to emboss your cardstock? I’ve done just that using the Nordic Motif Stencil. I use my usual sandwich of plates, but also add in a rubber mat along with the stencil. I did just a little selective inking, using the stencil in the usual way, to add some interest after the embossing.

This sweet Nordic Playful Penguin just makes me smile. You have to admit, he is one cute little fella! He’s dressed in his best today courtesy of papers from the MB Yuletide Cheer 6×6 paper pad.

A scrap of patterned paper was used for the Berry Merry sentiment. I opted not to add the letters back in, but to let the white show through. I like that you can used this die in more than one way!

Just a little something bright and cheerful to add some merry to your day! Thanks so much for stopping by.
