Autumn in the Forest

Wouldn’t it be a wonder to see this pretty little bunny in the autumn forest? I’ve dressed her to the nines and given her an abundance of autumn sprigs to munch on!
My Nordic Winter Rabbit was cut from gray cardstock. She’s dressed using snippets from the MB Blush Solid Core pad with the trim cut from gold paper in the Vintage Pastel Mirror pad. It’s hard to see in the photo, but her little pink nose matches her ear. The sweet flowers and pine sprigs are in the new Simple Floral Bundle.
She’s sitting on the new Forest Stump. I cut it from a lighter shade of brown cardstock then added Copic markers for some shading and depth. More floral sprigs and branches along with some cutie little toadstools were tucked in on the opposite side. Everything was grounded on one of the Nordic Delicate Borders and a snippet of PP by MB.
I like using ivory as a base and accents on my autumn cards. It seems cozier, to me, than white. Imagine meeting this cozy little rabbit on a walk through the forest. What a treat that would be!

The colors alone on this one are absolute perfection, but every detail kicks this creation up a notch. That sweet little bun is so perfectly dressed. Her perch of a tree stump is just the right height for all of those lovely flowers and sprays. I love that the little lilies are almost umbrella-like at the top and the mushrooms ground the scene at the bottom. And oh that nordic border! I could not love this more.
