Sending Love
By Lisa Elton

Hello Poppy peeps! I have a whimsical summer card for you today featuring some of our Nordic products along with a magical little fairy. Let me break down the construction of it for you.

I set out to create a wreath using the largest of the Nordic Pattern Rings. After cutting it from kraft paper, I began adding the Nordic Flower Heads. The blooms were all cut from Blush cardstock available from our parent company, Memory Box. The aqua centers were cut from white cardstock then colored with a Copic marker. After I was happy with the wreath, I tucked in the Thoughtful Faerie. Isn’t she cute, she reminds me of Tinker Bell! She was cut from Memory Box’s Lagoon cardstock.

I kept the sentiment simple so the card could be used for several different occasions.

The pretty Nordic Floral Plate seemed to be the perfect background for this card. I used white cardstock to keep the attention on the wreath and covered the back with a sheet of adhesive to keep everything in place.

I few rhinestones and sparkly fairy wings add to the magic! There are a variety of Nordic flowers, blooms and flourishes in the shop with pretty details just perfect for creating wreaths and floral arrangements.

I hope I’ve added a little magic and a smile to your day. Maybe I’ve also inspired you to create a whimsical wreath of your own. Thanks for stopping by!
