Geranium Gatefold & Challenge Reminder
by Birgit Norton

Good morning Poppystamps friends! Birgit here with you today sharing a card to remind you of the current challenge that’s going on right now, themed “Bloom Where You’re Planted”.
I enjoyed bringing out some older dies that are still available in the store, hoping to inspire you to pull out those older supplies and use them.
For my card, I brought out Brilliant Geraniums Flower Set and Picket Tall Curve Borders.
I cut the flowers out of Blush 6×6 Solid Core cardstock and the leaves out of Greenery 6×6 Solid Core cardstock. I added colored details and depth using copic markers. I added sugared glitter to the outside edge of the flower petals and added Fairy Jewels to the centers of each of the flowers.

On each of the gatefold flaps, I added a piece of cardstock from the Greenery 6×6 Solid Core cardstock and cut the Picket Tall Curve Borders out of the same color, adding them to both flaps. This gives the look of a garden trellis in the background. I added a white cardstock oval, gluing it to the left flap and adhered the geraniums, covering the oval.

I so enjoyed bringing out the tried and true dies that never go out of style for this challenge. These geraniums are gorgeous in any color and they’re so easy to assemble. I hope I’ve inspired you today with this lovely geranium card.
Want to play along?

The rules are simple – just create a project following the theme, use at least one Poppystamps image or die, and link it up HERE at the Challenge blog. The design we love best will receive our winner badge to proudly display on their blog, and one lucky random winner will receive a prize.
