Nordic Crown Flower
by Birgit Norton

Hello Poppystamps friends!  Birgit here with you today, sharing a card I made using the delightful Nordic Crown Flower.  I am so in love with these beautiful Nordic designs!!   Here’s how I made my card.

I started by cutting the Nordic Crown Flower out of light pink, dark pink and gold for the flower petals and a soft green color using the stem and leaf die.  I assembled three flowers, alternating the color layers.

Next, I cut the Double Scalloped Stitched Frame and the largest of the Scallop Pinpoint Hearts out of white cardstock.

I backed the Scalloped Stitched Frame using a piece of Anemone Plaid 6×6 paper and mounted it to the front of an A2 sized card base.

I then glued the flower onto the Scallop Pinpoint Heart and centered it onto the card front.  Just look at that wonderful dimension!

I finished the card off using some soft pink Pastel Fairy Jewels.

So simple, but very sweet!

  2. Hi Birgit, I love the background paper, the frame is beautiful and the Nordic flowers are ‘darling’. What a pretty card this is.

  3. What a nice surprise when this popped up on my laptop today. Lovely texture with the double frame. I adore the soft background that you used to let the crown flower shine. Beautiful card well done.
