Embossing Folder Sunflower

Hello. Marybeth Lopez with you today sharing a card using memory box 3D Embossing Folder beautiful sunflower, and Poppystamps : Splendid Happy Birthday.
I embossed the sunflower on a few colors of card stock and then fussy cut it out. As you can see I left some of the flat edged around the sunflower. It was very easy to cut out and I always find fussy cutting very relaxing.
I was going to have the yellow flower be the shadow but decided to cover it, you could leave some of it showing. I think for my next card I will have some of the darker color showing.
I used some distressed oxide ink and a blender brush to add a bit of color to the edges of the sunflower. I also did a bit of blending on the back to make sure the edges were covered.
I decided last minute to add a bit of sparkle to the bloom with light touches of chunky glitter. I want this card to bring some joy and happiness in a very sad time.
