Slimline His and Her Hedgehogs
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello , Marybeth Lopez  here today. It feels like forever since I have posted here on the Poppystamps blog. Happy to be with you today to share this fun, Slimline , Saint Valentines Day card ( or many other occasions) with you today.

I couldn’t resist adding a bit of pink and glitter to the girl groundhog. I cant help myself from adding a bit of chunky glitter .

I used the right and left: Big Hedgehogs , along with the Splendid Stitched Hearts from Poppystamps . The hearts are a few years back , any heart will work.

I wanted you to see a close up of the clear acetate I used, so the hearts will have movement. I took this photo outside, in normal light you can hardly see the acetate  and the hearts look like they are floating . My panel for the slimline card is about: 3 3/4 by 9 1/4 The card base is just a bit bigger.

I diecut everything in white then colored with ink blending brushes.

Above is a picture of the clear acetate cut in very thin strips as needed. It’s actually Thermal laminating pouches, ran through the laminator from another project. I save the leftovers for shaker cards , etc.

Above is the backside of the largest heart , showing you how I attached the clear strips.
