2020 Valentine’s Blog Blitz Begins!
by Jeanne Jachna

What a great day for a visit!  We've got more new release products to share with you and to celebrate we're having a blog blitz.  This is a time we set aside to show you projects made with the new release and give you a chance to win some for yourself!  You can see the entire new Valentine's release here.   Today I'm sharing a card made with the new Wild At Heart Border die.

Color blocking is my favorite technique when using die cuts.  It always results in clean graphic designs that let the die cuts take center stage.

Color blocking is simple.. you simply take strips of colorful card stock and adhere them to your card base OR together on their reverse side.  I like to  tape the strips together so I can cut off the edges to give a cleaner look and make any size panel I like.

I adhered my completed panel to my card stock base leaving a thin border of  the card base exposed.   I cut the Wild At Heart Border die cut from white card and adhered it over the color block panel.

The Hugs and Kisses sentiment is from the new Valentine's Fun clear stamp set.  It's got lots of great sentiments embellished with hearts, flourishes and brackets to make a big impression!

Now the part you've been waiting for… the prize!!
