Fall Cottage Window
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello and happy fall to you all! I enjoyed creating this card in the very wee hours of the morning.

I used Poppystamps Dies :Cottage Window, Maple Trio, Autumn Leaf Set and Doodle Happy Birthday.

I die cut and colored many leaves with the Peerless watercolor sheets and water pen. I just wipe the water pen  off in between colors on a baby wipe.

I am letting you see the not so nice side of my card. For this one I just added some score tape to the back of the window ,when turned over I could see my leaf placement as I went along.

Sharing some more not so pretty side of the card showing you how I added my fun / craft foam. Once turned over I added a few more leaves here and there and added the window frame back in the opening and then added the shutters.

I added the main watercolored panel to the front of my card base . I first added the birthday die using soft stone cardstock I decided I wanted it to be in white , so it wouldn't  take away from the window .

Here is a close up of the layered leaves, under the frame.

I am pleasantly pleased with how this card ended up, hope you like it too.

Take care.
