Fall blooms
by Tina Wilstrup

Hi Poppy fans! Today I’m showing you this fall-inspired card loaded with warm, bold colors. It’s a walk through a forest this time of year all in a card.

I lightly stamped the Peony Bouquet stamp, and left the stamp in my stamping tool for later use. I then colored it with Copics. After coloring the image, I placed it back in my stamping tool, stamped with embossing ink, sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat set it.

For the background I used a panel of watercolor cardstock and ink smooshed matching colors of Distress and Distress oxide inks. I also flicked on some drops of water – yes, water – with a paint brush, sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat set it.

I then die cut a couple of Christmas greens all from green cardstock.

With an ink dauber I inked the edges bringing a little life to the greens.

After fuzzy cutting the bouquet I colored the edge with a dark grey Copic marker to make it stand out more.

I used the same marker to color match my cardstock for the sentiment, which is also gold heat embossed.

I popped up the bouquet and attached the greens under it. Finishing touch was adding red and gold Nuvo drops to all the berries.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope I have inspired you to create your own fall-inspired card. Have a great day!
