Challenge Reminder

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  I'm interrupting the Fall / Halloween blog blitz to bring you this important message :P   HAHA!  I want to remind you that if you love to craft you should be playing along with our monthly challenge! 

I'm playing along with this clean and simple card featuring the FUN FLORAL SIDEKICK Frame! 

The challenge this month is ANYTHING GOES so there is no excuse for not playing along.  If you've never played before it couldn't be easier.  All you need to do is make a project… it could be a card, tag, home decor project etc. take a photo of it and upload it to a gallery like Splitcoaststampers, Flickr, or Instagram.  Just copy the url link where your photo is located and add it to the challenge links.  We select two winners every month.  The project we like best receives our blog badge, and one random winner chosen by random number generator receives a gift certificate for $20 to our on line store.

My card starts with a distress ink panel in Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron.  I topped the panel with the FUN FLORAL SIDEKICK frame cut from white card stock.  

The sentiment is from the Blooming Greetings stamp set, and is stamped on the window cut out.   I embellished the frame with die cut flowers and leaves that are included in the set.  I inked scraps of white paper with distress ink and used that instead of card stock.  The flowers have gem centers for a little bit of bling!
