Whittles Boy Card
Hi Poppy fans! Do you have any little ones in your life? Some ‘littles’ who love animals?
Poppystamps released some adorable new animal whittles this month. Have you been enjoying all the inspiration by the design team? I hope so. And I hope you’ve commented on the sets you’ve been eyeing.
My card today is a Whittle scene of some of my favorite jungle animals.
The new whittle dies cut the image out as well as imprint the fabulous personalities of each animal. LOVE!
I wanted a jungle scene with a warm glow, and decided to do a watercolor with my Kuretakes and water color paper. To that I splashed on some Mr. Huey white and Adirondac Lettuce.
I love framing my scenes, but didn’t want the whole Sidekick frame, so I simply snipped out what I didn’t need or want, and left one little branch to balance the monkeys in the trees.
Sassy little monkeys think the lion doesn’t notice them in the palm fronds. Think again, little monkeys!
Hope my card brought a smile, and maybe some inspiration too.
