Blue Valentine
by Nancy Penir

Hello, and welcome to a post featuring one of the new Poppystamps dies, Blooming Rose.

Now I’m all about romance around Valentines, and the sweet femininity of this die hit all my girly buttons!

Here’s a few tips on how I created this card.

I cut the rose image several time from different colors, gluing down 2 on my distressed card base.

Once my two rose diecuts were pieced onto the circle, I added foam squares to the back for a bit of a lift off the card.

I always overdo the foam if the card is being sent in the mail, to make sure nothing gets bent or collapses.

A closeup of the card’s sentiment, which was doubled and a look at the uplifted center circle.

Hope your Valentines are full of love and maybe just a bit of crafting love too!
