Bauble Tree
by Sue McRae

Hi everyone, Sue here with a really quick, clean and simple Christmas card.

I used the Bauble Tree die to make a fun and modern shaker card.

I started by die cutting the Bauble Tree Background from white card stock, then cutting the Bauble Tree from black card stock. The black piece will be paper pieced into the triangle cut out.

For some added colour  I took a piece of paper and swirled some green and blue paints on it and used that for the background of the tree. I added a bunch of stars and hexagon shaped sequins for the shaker elements and adhered everything together.

I used a sentiment from the Christmas Greetings set and stamped it on all sides of the tree and finished off with a yellow glittered star.

There are a lot of possibilities with this Bauble Ornament die, I think it's a great one to have in your stash!

Thanks for visiting with me today!

  2. Love this to bits and pieces, Sue! Great colors, too! I’m a fan of popping up off the surface of the card face, but many of these dies don’t lend themselves to such. You’ve showcased them brilliantly here!

  3. Gorgeous colors on your tree. And I love shakers! I really love this tree – think I need to put that on my wish list. 🙂
