Holiday Greeting
by Lezlye Lauterbach

Welcome to Poppystamps Blog! I have Christmas Card for you today!

I cut the poinsettia out of kraft cardstock and colored them with Prismacolor colored pencils for a soft vintage look.  I created the chalkboard look on my black cardstock by rubbing white pigment ink on it, then removing some with a baby wipe.

I used the same ink for the sentiment and then heat embossed it with white powder for a pop.

I love adding the chunky gold glitter to the centers as an alternative. Have a great day!

  2. Good morning Lezlye. I’m loving the look of your vintage poinsettia. I’m hanging out with my card making friends today, and will be trying out that technique. Thanks for sharing this wonderful card.
