Chilly Christmas
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi crafters,

Today I am featuring Botanica Frame die by Poppystamps:

This unique die has negative floral border all around as well as fun embossed dots. When layered onto the colored A2 card base it will give you a colored detailed border, but I wanted to take it one step further and turn it into a shaker card.

Here is what I came up with. Watch the VIDEO TUTORIAL below to see how it was made:

  1. Love this ,I have this die and have tried to make a shaker card but found it a little too large for an A2 card but now after your video I am inspired to try again, thank you for sharing your yet again beautiful card.

  2. This is just too much frosty goodness Olga. I’m so thankful for your videos. Not only do I learn loads of techniques, but I have a fuller appreciation of all the nuanced steps you take to produce such works of art.
I am amazed by all the different ways you have engineered your shaker cards, depending on how the space lies beneath your images. Thank you so much for your skill as an artist, and the skill with which you share it.

  3. Hi Olga, This is a fabulous tutorial, I love how you have contained your sequins etc and the finished creation is fabulous !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  4. This card is just stunning. How can 1 person keep creating 1 perfect card after another. You should seriously write a book of techniques and inspiration, I think it would sell like hot cakes. Love this!!!
