Bailiwick Birds

Thank you all so much for joining in our Poppystamps Blog Blitz today! I made this bright bird card background with a brand new delicate design, Bailiwick Background. This versatile die can be used in so many ways, all year long. I love the delicate curvy vines, and the tiny pairs of budding leaves. Everything about it feels like spring, so I used bright, fresh colors for the blooming flowers and birdcage. Maybe these two lovebirds are on a tropical romantic getaway.

This fresh new die can be yours as one of the amazing prizes from Poppystamps! All you have to do is leave a comment on today's design and tell us where YOUR favorite romantic getaway is located. Then come back again every day and leave comments on all the great new projects from our design team. You have until the end of the blog blitz to leave comments on all your favorite new designs and increase your chances to win even more fabulous dies and surprises. Thanks for stopping by!

  7. What a beautiful and such a delicate Die! My favorite romantic getaway was seeing Niagara Falls during our Honey Moon 24 1/2 years ago. But I also greatly enjoyed Yellow Stone Park and seeing Old Faithful erupt right outside our Rustic Hotel window. Then there were the majestic Grand Tetons, Mount Rushmore, and the Grand Canyon. Oh and then there was our two trips to Paris and our exciting ride up the Effiel Tower and our Romantic Dinners overlooking the beautiful River Seine (with the Cathedral of Notre Dame in the background). Then there was the Cliffs of Moor in Ireland. Oh boy we have been blessed with the opportunities to travel to see so many romantic places!

  16. Dear Michele,
I am a newbie to this wonderful world of stamping, dies and die-cutting. It is like a wonderland to me right now 🙂 This really is a delicate and lovely design.
My favourite getaway is not, perhaps, everyone’s cup of tea. The fields nearby are home to deer, foxes, badgers, rabbits and little mice. There are beautiful trees including ancient oaks, and English apple trees laden with fruits. Wild roses, meadow flowers of all kinds. That is where we go to ‘getaway’. And it’s dog-friendly too, so our old woofs can have a little scamper round every day.
Thank you for the chance to win : )
