Penguin Celebration
By Allison Frazier

Hello, Poppystamps friends! I am excited to be back up on the blog today sharing this fun birthday card featuring goodies from the new Penguin Party release. I couldn’t decide which penguin to use on today’s card, so I used all three…the Fancy Party Penguin, the Birthday Penguin, and the Jubilee Penguin.

I cut the pieces for the penguin from white and black card stock. For the feet and beaks, I used a yellow marker on the white card stock. Assembling these little cuties is so easy, especially because the images on the front of the packaging are true to size. So, if you’re ever unsure how to assemble something, just lay your pieces on top of the packaging images!

I did cut the hats from colored card stock and attached little white “pom poms” to them. I also cut the Celebration Banner pieces from colored card stock and adhered those to a black banner backing (the piece that connects all the banners together on the string). Before glueing all of my elements to my card base, I stamped a sentiment from the Balloon Celebrations stamp set. The blue card panel is A2 sized, and I attached that to a black card base measuring 4.5″ x 5.75″.

I love how this card turned out, and I hope it brings a smile to your face today. Thanks so much for joining us on the blog.
