Nordic Sweeping Branch wreath
by Michelle Woerner
Hi crafty friends! It’s Michelle Woerner here sharing this pretty wreath card. I featured the Nordic Sweeping Branch and the Nordic Birds of a Feather die sets from the new 2025 Nordic Forest collection.
To start my card I die cut out a circle from a white panel and added score lines every 1/8″ along the bottom (scroll down for a close up pic). Next I die cut the Nordic Sweeping Branch 2 times and the Nordic Birds of a Feather once. There are 3 bird combinations from 1 die, so I was able to get both my birds by die cutting my colors once.
The colors I used for the wreath and wings of my birds were taken from the pattern paper strip. I chose a pretty floral print with bold pinks, soft yellow and lush greens from the Memory Box Brilliant Fuchsia 6×6 pad. I adhered the paper between the open circle and scored lines and tied some twine into a bow. Then I adhered the panel on to my card base using foam squares.
I placed the the 2 die cut branches together forming a wreath just inside the circle opening. The with outer leaves outside the circle and the inner leaves in the inside. Lastly, I couldn’t resist adding a small accents to the wreath, so I pulled Fabulous Florals die set and cut the tiny flower centers from dark pink cardstock. The sentiment is from the Hooray stamp/die set.
If you haven’t already, head over to the New Releases section and check out all the new goodies in the 2025 Nordic Forest collection. You might find some new favorites! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
