Quick and Easy Butterfly Card Trio
by Michelle Woerner

Hi crafty friends! It’s Michelle Woerner here sharing this quick and easy card trio. I featured the Nordic Belle Butterfly die set from the new 2025 Nordic Spring collection.

What I love about the Nordic Belle Butterfly die set, is the butterfly has 3 layers. So once you chose your colors, you die cut the butterfly 3 times (to get a different color for each layer) you end up with enough die cuts for 3 butterflies mixed and matched! I chose 3 tones of purple for my butterflies, and to complete my simple designs I picked 2 colors of cardstock and 1 piece of pattern paper. 2Once you assemble the butterfly layers I adhere a small piece of cardstock on the back gluing the 2 pieces together. Doing this keeps the butterfly stable and makes it easy to move around and adhere to your card. The above photo gives an illustration.

I wanted to keep my designs simple, so I cut a few strips of cardstock and pattern paper (from the Memory Box Glimmering Gladiola 6×6 paper pad) and played around with some arrangements. These designs are a great way to use up those paper and cardstock scraps!

Of course I couldn’t resist adding a small accent to a couple butterflies, so I pulled Nordic Flower Bunch die set and cut the branches from green cardstock. The sentiments on 2 cards are from the Birthday Banners stamp/die set and the 3rd is the Hello Moonlight Script die set.

If you haven’t already, head over to the New Releases section and check out all the new goodies in the 2025 Nordic Forest collection. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
