Birthday Flower Cart
by Jeanne Jachna

Hi friends!  You know I love die cuts and I am so happy to be a member of the Poppystamps design team.  Poppystamps is a sister company to Memory Box and their dies never disappoint. I used a few sets to create this scene card that focuses on the Corner Shoppe Wooden Cart.  The cart comes with two buckets that I filled with florals from the Flower and Leaf Sprinkles die set.  I wanted to show you how I create.  I arrange images on a piece of plastic the size of my card base.  This allows me to move things around until I’m happy with the configuration, and it’s easy to slide different backgrounds under the plastic for a sneak peek.

The background is a simple Distress Ink Blend to create a sunny sky.   The sun is a stack of two circles, one from the Nordic Pattern Rings, and the other from the Scallop Pinpoint Rings.

I added some party banners and butterflies to finish the card.  The banners come with a solid die and separate cut out banners so you can make the flags whatever color you like.

Poppystamps has a monthly challenge that starts on the first of every month.  This month’s challenge is called Good Day Sunshine and I thought this card would be perfect.  I hope you’ll check out the challenge and that  you find some time to play today!!
