You’re Purrfect
by Lisa Elton

Happy Spring Poppy friends! Everything is waking up in my neck of the woods. The grass is green once again, the budding trees are filled with birds, the tulips are popping open and we’ve even had a thunderstorm or two. I tried to reflect a bit of that on my card today.

There’s a pretty little gray cat who’s been roaming around our neighborhood lately. He tucks himself in here and there just watching. He’s even been known to squeeze under our fence to investigate our backyard. He’s making an appearance on my card today in the form of the Whittle Purring Cat. I added a bit of pink to his nose with a Copic marker and placed him on a portion of one of the Fern and Daisy Pop Up Easel dies.

I’ve surrounded him with Layered Tulips, butterflies (also from the Fern and Daisy Pop Up Easel set) and a good sprinkling of Fairy Jewels. There are so many pretty flowers in the Poppystamps shop that would let you recreate this card for any season! My sentiment, from the Whittle Adorable Kitty Kit, was stamped on a Word Balloon die cut. This is a great set to add to your stash for sentiments. The elongated shapes are fun!

It’s Simple, it’s sweet and I think it reflects the gray rainy days of April splashed with the bright happy colors of spring! Thanks so much for visiting, we love it when you do!
