Brilliant Rings Background
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello and happy July to you, I hope it’s going to.. only get better! 🙂

I wanted a sunny and bright card with warm summer colors, I love this honeycomb patterned paper . I had fun playing with Poppystamps : Brilliant Rings craft dies and Memory box Patterned paper .

I choose the patterned paper  from memory box : Springtime Bouquet and Garden Folly.

I cut a bunch up and then placed them where I wanted on my panel. When I liked where they were placed, I adhered them down .

After I had all the circles adhered to my panel I turned it over and trimmed with my paper cutter, as seen below. Very simple card and fun way to show off some of the patterned paper we all have .

I cut a strip of vellum and heat embossed my .. thank you … sentiment from memory box : Wild Rose and die set.

This is a different kind of card for me.  I think since I have recently  taken quilting back up I wanted to blend patterned paper together like I do with fabric.

I hope you are enjoying extra craft time as most of us are home more than normal.

Take care and God bless.

  2. Hi Marybeth, Very pretty papers and a fabulous combination of both and combined with this fabulous set of dies creates a really pretty card, I love it.
Brilliant that you have taken up quilting again, I have been spending most of my time patchwork quilting recently, I absolutely love it, I don’t always get my points to match up but the more I practice the better I will get, that’s my reasoning anyway hahaha. I absolutely adore fabric and since I started quilting I have bought loads and loads of it. I am as ‘over the top’ with hording fabric as I am with my papercrafting stash hahaha. Enjoy your quilting.
    Stay safe, stay well.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
