Social Distance Garden Bouquet

Hello Poppystamps Friends!

Today, I am sharing a pretty Garden Bouquet CAS card created just for you! This bright and clean CAS card has a very easy breezy look to it, but sometimes looks can be deceiving! 

To create this card, you only need TWO dies, Garden Bouquet, Heart Favor, and Pointed Rectangle Frames, but you will need to make multiple cuts in different colors, and then carefully piece and glue the tiny flower petals in place. As usual, I always rely on my old friend, the craft tweezers, which is a MUST HAVE tool in my crafty stash. 

I cut the Pointed Frame, Garden Bouquet, and Heart Favor all in black, then glued everything onto my card base. Then I recut the Heart Favor in Aqua Blue, then again in Peach. Then I cut a combination of flower petals and butterflies in bright colors, and then glued everything in place. This might be easy breezy for you, but depending on what kind of die cutting machine you use, those tiny little petals might fly and stick everywhere! As long as you keep you colors and positions straight when you pull your die off the plate, adhering the tiny petals is actually kind of fun! I live seeing the color take shape.

I thought it would be a fun little technique to cut the hand in Aqua Blue, so it looks like the giver is wearing gloves! A little thank you to so many of us who are still social distancing and staying safe, or a thank you to our heroes wearing masks and gloves to work all day! I love the bold pops of color against the black too!
