Festive Noel Christmas Blog Blitz
by Tina Wilstrup

Hello Poppy fans! The Christmas/Winter Blog Blitz is in full swing and I’m here to show you some inspiration using the gorgeous Festive Noel die.

I wanted to use “sort-of” untraditional colors so I started by loosely ink blending a panel of watercolor cardstock with Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch and Wilted violet Distress inks. Ireally wasn’t careful with the blending. I spritzed the cardstock with water and dapped off the excess with a paper towel. Then I diluted a tiny drop of silver acrylic paint with water and splattered it over the panel. I even spritzed it with Sheer shimmer spritz for extra sparkle because – Christmas…

I also die cut the Festive Noel 4 times and the Pumpkin Patch Sidekick frame once. With my scissors I cut out all the pumpkins from the frame.

The frame and the one Noel cuts I covered in silver sparkle embossing powder. I then layered the Noel cuts and adhered the frame and Noel to the card. I inlayed a single layer of the Noel negative cuts to make the word stand out more.

I inlayed all 4 layers of the berries and topped them with white Nuvo drops and also added a little shimmer to the inlayed letters.

And now for the part you’ve been waiting for! You could win this gorgeus and versatile Festive Noel die!

Here’s all the details of the event….
