Distress Oxide Inks, Flowers, Sidekick Frame

Poppy fans, welcome to the Summer Blog Blitz! And welcome to my post today featuring the Fun Floral Sidekick Frame and Stencil set. Talk about getting a bang for your buck, the sidekick dies and stencils are one of those 'must haves' in your collection.

I packed my card with all the options in this frame die and stencil set. Let's take a look at some of it's possibilities.

The background was inked onto watercolor paper. Notice I put most of the color on the corners, and left the left center mostly white. 

You can see the faint pencil marks where I indicated the area for my sentiment within the frame's window. Also added some shadow with the stencil. The  new Blooming Greetings stamp set has some florals and leaves and I added the flower, and loosely watercolored the petals and leaf.

I wanted you to see how I applied the inking onto the leaves, through the stencil. 1st off, use Washi to tape down the stencil. You won't be sorry you protected the frame, and anchored the stencil! 

I cut the frame twice for a bit of depth. Then added the die cut blooms, gathered together in a sort of swag. A closeup shows how each bloom is doubled. Nuvo pearl drops scattered in the flower centers, and around the sentiment. The flowers are included in this die and stencil set. And here's where the fun begins.
