Dream Butterfly
by Sue McRae
Hello crafters! Sue here with all things metallic and shiny!

I used lots of gilding flakes on my card today, so lets get started.
For the background I took the Floribunda Collage and die cut it twice from a piece of A2 card stock to create a stencil. I taped this over a piece of white card stock and sponged on glitter glue (which dries tacky). I removed the stencil and added my gilding flakes over the flower images.

I die cut the Dream Butterfly from teal metallic paper and created a base for the butterfly which I covered with double sided adhesive and added a different color of gilding flakes.

To finish the card I heat embossed the sentiment with teal embossing powder and foam mounted it to my card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Morning Sue, Gorgeous !! I love how you have used the Floribunda Collage as a stencil and then gilding flakes, it looks so effective, then topped off with the gorgeous butterfly, I love it !!

Hi Sue, I have a question for you regarding an old project.
http://poppystamps.typepad.com/poppystamps/2015/09/swivel-tag-by-sue-mcrae-.html
I am trying to make a swiveling multiple page resume using an eyelet. What you did with the Christmas tag in this older post is exactly the effect I am trying to get. My question is, do I need a special eyelet/grommet or tools to create this effect? Or will any eyelet/eyelet setter create this?
Thank you for your time, love your work!
