Blog Blitz: Painted Rainbow

Get Well, Watercolor

It's the second day of the new release Blog Blitz and I have a fun, colorful, clean and simple get well card to share with you!  I'm using the new Paint Cans and Brush die set which is just so versatile!  I love watercolors, so this was a no-brainer for me:)  I started by die cutting the large paint can in silver metallic card stock.  Then I die cut it again using watercolor paper just for the "paint" piece inside the paint can.  

Next I die cut the little paintbrush in watercolor paper.  Then it was just a matter of using my watercolors to paint an arching rainbow across the card, onto the "paint" piece, and onto my paintbrush.  I really love how the rainbow is just bursting out of that tiny paint can!  The paint can and the brush are glued on with a bit of foam tape.  And the card is finished off with a sentiment from the Hope and Thanks set.

  11. There are so many possibilities for using the paint can and brush! For instance, I can see hearts spilling out of the overturned can – or flowers or X’s and O’s, etc.
