Sunny Thoughts
I really enjoy making stand-up cards and this was fun to make. I love sunflowers and I was so excited to see this beauty. I've die cut it several times for the color layers and layered them onto an embossed background. The gold highlights were made by lightly rubbing the ridges of the pattern with glue and placing foil over it. Using a glitter pen, I added glitter to the flower. The butterfly was cardstock that I glittered and the outline of the butterfly was die cut and it too had foil added. A computer generated sentiment, or two, along with some more layering and this card is ready to post.

This is such a beautiful card & that sunflower die is just gorgeous. I like the idea of your embossed background highlighted with gold – that’s a must try technique if ever I saw one !!!
