Spooky Neighborhood Home
by Jeanne Jachna

Do you love Halloween?  It’s my favorite holiday!   It brings back good memories as a child being able to dress, up and stay out all night.  Oh yes!!! Don’t forget the candy!!!

If you love Halloween too, I want to make sure that you know that this month’s challenge at Poppystamps is “Get You Boo On!”.  We’re looking for Halloween designs and you’re not limited to cards.  Home decor, treats, tags, and page layouts are all welcome at the challenge.  By linking up your design to your blog, gallery or Instagram account, you’re automatically entered into our $20 store gift certificate giveaway.

The new Neighborhood Home Pop Up Easel Set is so versatile. You can change the look of the house or dress it up for different occasions simply by cutting it in different colors and / or by adding different accessories from different die sets.   It’s also a unique shaped card because it’s a pop up easel!

It was easy to assemble the house.  The set comes with a die for the card base, background, and the house face.  It was easy to cut the light grey house and then cut the house again with yellow for the window inserts.   Window cuts in the set include paned and pane-less windows.

I added ghosts and pumpkins from the Whittle Scary Guys die set.  The pumpkin foliage is from a retired die set called Leaves and Berries.

It’s a win/win.. stock your stash with some great cards, and enter our challenge for a chance to win!   We’d love to see what you’re making!
