Blueberry Birthday
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there, Marybeth Lopez  here with you on this last Wednesday of July, can you believe it! Today I am using the Grand Whittle Ice Cream Cone, along with the Modest Greetings 1 Foil and Cut Die Set. I also used the Watercolor Paper for my cones.

I splattered the cones with a water brush dipped in some ink .

The cones were layered twice and ink blended with my blending brush and Distress Oxide Ink as you can see below.

I think the ink blending gives a nice cone look with simple shading. I was light handed while doing this.

I also used the Watercolor Paper from Open Studio. I used a few colors to blend some darker and some mixed. Im calling it blueberry  ice cream , works for me and looks delicious. I was in need of some  boy  birthday cards . I think this should work and I love the simple Happy Birthday under the cone. Loving the Poppystamps Foil and Cut Die Set. I made many at one time in a few different colors. So nice to have on hand when making a card.

Thank you so much for taking a look. I hope I have inspired you to be creative and or go take a look at the shop. So grateful for the blessing of this craft in these times.

God bless you all.

  1. Hi Marybeth, A jummy ice cream card, I’m loving the ink blending on the cone, and the ice cream looks so yummy, it is just missing a chocolate flake in it haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
