Mistletoe and Plaid
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello , Marybeth here today with a simple Poppystamps card, easy for mailing. Once I figured out my design I decided this flat card would be easy to make many and simple to send. I love the red and white Christmas design. Memory box now sells 6X6 paper packs ( so excited ) I chose the red and white plaid paper from the pack to add behind my mistletoe from panel (Dashing Holiday pp1001)

I folded my card base then opened it up and placed the die where I wanted it and ran it through my die-cutting machine. Then I simply cut a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 piece of patterned paper and placed behind the top of the card.

I turned it over and added clear tape and some glue for the tiny pieces.

I for the berries I used Poppystamps Holly Outline from last year , you could use anything round or even a hole punch.

As you can see in this top picture I decided to add a few more white berries so that it was either, a group of one ore three.

The sentiment set is from also from last year, I love the font and longer narrow alignment of it. It worked well for this card. I lined my envelope with red cardstock to add a bit more detail when opening the card. Looks simple with lots of love and blessing for Christmas.
