Sending Wishes.
by Pam Simpson

Hello everyone, Pam here today..sharing a background I created on watercolour card, with water colour inks and coarse sea salt..something I have wanted to try for a long while.

Top picture shows my water colour card taped down onto a glass cutting mat, I have sprayed the card ..make sure it is really wet..Bottom photo..I put  small amounts of lilac and green liquid water colour inks on my glass mat, mine are by Rare earth UK company. using a small paint brush I dab onto the wet card as shown.

Onto the wet card I have sprinkled coarse sea salt..

Bottom photo as it looks when left to dry.

Rather than waste my card..I gut it using my trimmer ..I need a frame 5.1/2″ and square.  Can you notice the effect you get using sea salt! looks like pretty flowers (to me) lol

I cut Poppystamps Wishes diagonally across the square card.

Mat onto dark purple the square. infilled with another Poppystamp cut wishes in purple..I made a feature`s using Whittle Wood Frames and tiny pearls ..

to finish white satin bow..hope you like my background and something I will use again, enjoyed my what I call messy day!.

Thank you for stopping by Pam x.
