There's nothing like a cuppa for a quick pick me up in the morning or the middle of the day!  There's something comforting about a steaming mug to warm you inside and help you collect your thoughts and take on the rest of the day.

Coffee lovers and crafters UNITE!  The Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop begins today and Poppystamps is a SUPER Sponsor!  That means we're offering a prize for the event.   You can find lots of coffee theme'd projects and  link up your own designs so you'll be entered to win! 

I'm playing along with this colorful creation!   I started with a Zig Zag border background in yellow, lime and teal.   The die cuts three strips at a time so this went pretty quick.  I adhered the cuts on their reverse side with tape to form a panel.  I trimmed the panel to fit the cover of my card and adhered it to the base.  You can also adhere the strips directly to your base if you like.  

I've used this Morning Cup die for several Coffee Lover Events.  I love that I can change the look of it by adding different elements.   I added some flowers this time for the Spring event.

I topped the zig zag panel with a Finial Wreath die cut adorned with more florals and leaves from the  Blooming Border die.   The flowers are topped with half pearls for some extra bling.
